How Truelog Rescued a Critical Google Datacenter Shipment

Problem description:

In 1 such case, we flew 1 mounted rack from USA to one of Google’s datacenters in Jakarta, on IOR DDP basis, and crucially – without end user involvement. Upon arrival, the rack is supposed to be plugged into the existing network so that the engineers at origin can take care of the configuration and manage the datacenter remotely.

Once the shipment had departed, the customer realized a switch was missing inside the server rack.

Remedial action:

Through NXT-Global’s network of IOR & ICT specialists, we found Kor-Plus who provided us with the following solution:

• Uncrate & unrack the server
• We flew in the switch, also under IOR service, which they’ve skillfully installed into the rack
• The rack was crated again and delivered to Google’s datacenter
  
  

Were it not for this network of solutions providers, this shipment would have had to fly back and miss the deadline.
